Turning Conversations Into Visual Stories

Visual Podcast Production

Year

2023-2026

From intimate conversations to technology and culture, I’ve worked across multiple visual podcast formats produced by Blender, including Las Pibas Dicen, Las Promesas, and Entre Libros. My work has ranged from multicamera production and camera operation to taking complete ownership of the video editing and post-production process.

Each format required its own visual language, pacing, and personality. Beyond assembling multicamera footage, the challenge was to find the moments, reactions, and rhythm that turn long-form conversations into engaging viewing experiences for YouTube and digital platforms.

Las Pibas Dicen: Finding the Rhythm in Conversation

Editing a multicamera conversation is as much about what happens between the words as the conversation itself. Across two seasons of Las Pibas Dicen, my main role was video editing, selecting not only the active speaker but also reactions, pauses, and subtle interactions between the hosts and their guests to create a natural and engaging visual rhythm. I also participated in the production as a camera operator, giving me a deeper understanding of the format from capture through final edit.

Las Promesas: Building a Visual Identity

For Las Promesas, a technology podcast hosted by Santiago Siri and Julieta Schulkin, my role went beyond traditional podcast editing. Starting from raw studio footage, I worked closely with the designer to help define the audiovisual identity of the show, shaping its editing language, music, sound, pacing, and overall feel. The result was a distinctive format designed to turn long-form conversations about some of technology’s most influential figures into a polished digital product.

Entre Libros: Making the Most of a Limited Space

Entre Libros, hosted by Gonzalo Heredia, featured intimate conversations with writers inside a small library. I worked alongside Blender’s filmmaking team on the camera setup and operated one of the cameras during production. The main challenge was the extremely limited space: we needed to create multiple compelling angles without compromising the intimate atmosphere of the conversations. Through careful camera placement and coordination, we turned those constraints into a polished multicamera production.
